The trailer begins with Stacy explaining how a Bat mitzvah is a young girl’s ultimate rite of passage. This is her (unsuccessful) pitch for getting Dua Lipa. Stacy and Lydia are BFFs with similar aspirations, waiting for their world to be changed by their upcoming mitzvahs.
That’s until Sunny catches Lorraine kissing her crush Andy Goldfarb. Things will never be the same as Stacy tries to find herself without her best friend. Days before the life-changing party, she tries to navigate a world without the love and support of her best friend. The family tries to help her through this time. Hilarity and heartbreak ensue.
