The lead rapper of Korean boyband BTS, RM is teaming up with Megan Thee Stallion for a surprise collab. This comes as a great news for fans who awaited new music from the rapper who got enlisted in the military last year.
The band has previously collaborated with high profile stars from the industry such as Halsey, Steve Aoki, Nicki Minaj and Lauv. Here’s everything Megan has revealed about their collaboration and what fans can expect.
BTS’ RM And Megan Thee Stallion’s First Collaboration
RM, which stands for Rap Monster, and Megan Thee Stallion revealed their collaboration on the new song ‘Neva Play‘ on social media this Sunday. The song is set to release on September 6, and fans are pretty excited to see both the rappers coming together.
Megan teased the song with it’s cover art on Instagram as she wrote in the caption, “NEVA PLAY WITH RM OUT FRIDAY HOTTIES X ARMY ” before adding, “ps. This is one of my favorite RM verses I’ve heard! I’ve never heard him rap in this style before”
The announcement comes almost two months after Megan Thee Stallion’s third album, Megan, was released and debuted at No. 3 on the Billboard 200. While the members complete their required military service in South Korea, BTS’s full-band activities have been put on hold. However they have been dropping a few solo projects.

Everything You Need To Know About RM
The Korean hunk is the lead rapper and the leader of BTS. His real name is Kim Nam Joon but after joining the band, he adopted the stage name Rap Monster which later became RM. Throughout the beginning of the band’s career, Namjoon was the band’s official translator, being the only person in the band who knew how to speak English.

RM has, in the past, worked on various solo projects, with ‘Mono’ being his first solo project, released in 2018. As of latest, he has dropped his album ‘Right Place Wrong Person’.
He is currently doing his mandatory military service and is set to return in 2025.
