The New Music Video “Wait For U” Featuring Future
Finally Drake and Future is back with another grand collaboration. In the new “Game Of Thrones” inspired music video “Wait For U” from the album “ I never liked you”, the rappers travels back to the medieval times. The songs states about medieval knights protecting their queens and talking about other past heartbreaks.
Mr. X directed the music video which starts with the scene of a ancient leather book with the title “The Tale Of Toxic Kings”. Along with the song flows the pages open magically and bring the viewers to the Future’s world.
“Once upon a time, there was a toxic king, who was going to war and leaving his queen behind,” a narrator explains as the beat leads in and Future begins to sing to the fair maiden he’s headed off to protect.
Future Raps about how leaving his favorite woman is harder than anything, but she has to trust him when they’re apart. “I can hear your tears when they drop over the phone / Get mad at yourself ‘cause you can’t leave me alone / Gossip, bein’ messy, that ain’t what we doin’.”
Drake With His Shining Armour
Drake Printers the music video as a knight on horseback. He appears wearing a Shining armour and a fur cape. Future comes riding a maiden as two men were chasing him through the woods. He jumps off His horse and gets ready to fight. Meanwhile he raps about how his career keeps him away from love.
“Yeah, I been trappin’ ‘round the world / I sit on my balcony and wonder how you feelin’ / I got a career that takes my time away from women / I cannot convince you that I love you for a livin’,” he raps as he engages in a sword fight with the woman’s attackers.
The new song has an amazing guest cast list which includes Kanye West, Gunna, and Young Thug. Drake also features on the album’s penultimate track, “I’M ON ONE.”
No wonder that the new collab is gonna rock and roll the whole music industry with the unique video.
