Billy Ray Cyrus Pens Sweet Note For Miley Cyrus
Despite the ongoing family drama, Billy Ray Cyrus is making sure to drop in a few words of love and encouragement for his daughter Miley as he shared a baby picture of Miley accompanied by a heartfelt caption.

In the caption he wrote the backstory to the picture, “One of my best memories ever: @cma Fest, back when it was Fan Fair. That’s @mileycyrus and me, surrounded by thousands of incredible fans at the fairgrounds.”
He then gushed over his daughter and wrote, “I’m incredibly proud of her. She’s a survivor and a true artist. She learned early on to love and appreciate the fans who make everything possible. We both cherish the connection we have with our fans and are grateful for every single one of you! Hope you all have a great Friday! Now rock the country!!!”

What Is The Ongoing Rift Between The Cyruses?
The family rift started after Billy and Tish Cyrus got divorced in 2022 and it separated the family as a whole. After Billy got married to Firerose in 2023, who is years younger than him, it has appeared to put a deeper strain on the family members. A source claimed, “The divorce between her parents have put a strain on her relationship with her dad and it’s been hard to connect with him in the last year,” adding that Miley “has been closer to her mom Tish” and “doesn’t have a relationship” with Billy Ray’s new wife Firerose.
Following that, Miley has not interacted with Billy at all and had notably left him out of her Grammys speech and announcement.
To make matters worse, Miley’s sister Noah liked her ex Liam Hemsworth’s pictures on Instagram which created a frenzy on social media to which she reacted in a much laidback way, causing more headlines about the family drama.
