The Destiny’s Child member started her career in the 1990s. And in 2003, she marked the beginning of her solo career with the chart-topping single ‘Crazy in Love‘. She also tried her hand at acting and excelled in it through the 2000s. Awards and accolades have come looking for the singer.

Beyoncé Excited To Be The Mayor
Bringing her Renaissance Tour to the city of Santa Clara, California, Beyoncé was pretty excited. On August 30, with the tour coming to the city, the singer was named the honorary mayor. The singer expressed her gratitude for the title during her concert.
“I’m so excited. I’m so happy to be on stage. Y’alls faces are so beautiful. You know today’s special because today…I am the mayor,” the ‘Drunk in Love‘ singer shared her joy.
“This is my gratitude tour. I don’t take any of this for granted. I know after 25 years I’m still able to do what I love, and it’s because of your loyalty and because of your prayers. I’m so grateful for y’all,” Beyoncé thanked her fans.

Beyoncé Poses With The Key To The City
The songstress Beyoncé also took to Instagram to share her happiness of getting the mayor title. The style icon posed in a black strapless miniskirt and platform boots. She also had her key to the city in her hands in one of the photos with a peace sign in the other.
The title of the mayor was handed over to Beyoncé on August 29. The star’s publicist Dr. Yvette Neol-Shure was the one who accepted the ceremonial declaration on her behalf. “The city of Santa Clara is excited about Beyoncé’s upcoming visit to the world-renowned Levi’s Stadium. Her concerts will certainly bring a great deal of energy and excitement,” the Santa Clara spokesperson added.
