Rihanna Thought She Might Regret The Decision To Perform At The Super Bowl Halftime After Pregnancy
Recently, Rihanna did an Apple Music press conference ahead of the big event. Apple+ will also be releasing a documentary covering her NFL Super Bowl Halftime and the behind-the-scenes that led to the big event. During an interview with Apple Music, Rihanna reflected on how she decided to do it three months postpartum.
She said, “When I first got the call to do it again this year I was like, ‘Are you sure? I’m three months postpartum. Should I be making major decisions like this right now? I might regret this. However, there is new energy since she attained motherhood, “When you become a mom there’s something that happens where you feel like you can take on the world and can do anything,” the ‘Work’ singer said.

The Artist Found It Difficult To Fit All Of Her Major Songs In 13 Minutes
Rihanna will be going on stage for a live performance after seven years. Her last album was released in 2016 titled ‘Anti’. It was nerve-wracking for her, but she is ‘exhilarated’ about the challenge. She said, “The Super Bowl is one of the biggest stages in the world. As scary as it was because I haven’t been on stage in seven years, there’s something exhilarating about the challenge of it all. It’s important for me to do this year. It’s important for my son to see that”.
In a career spanning more than 17 years and eight albums, it is difficult to be economic for such an iconic set list. But, Rihanna has found it difficult to fit everything in the 13 minutes. She continued, “Some songs we have to lose because of that, and that’s going to be okay. We did a pretty good job at narrowing it down. There’s probably been about 39 versions of the setlist right now. We’re on our 39th. Every little change counts”.
