No one does a comeback like Taylor Swift does, and that’s something we can all agree on. In an interview with Jimmy Kimmel when she was 25 years old, Swift recalled an incident that occurred when she was a teenager and was kicked out of Jimmy Kimmel’s studio.
An aspiring singer since she was young, Swift often approached record dealers and music producers for a chance to work. During one such incident, as she recalled, 14-year-old Taylor and her mother went to Jimmy Kimmel’s studio with hopes of striking up a deal that would make her a musician. But things didn’t work out because Igoe, who was in charge of booking musical artists, chose to kick Swift out of the recording studio.
Kimmel even called Igoe out to make things spicier but Swift handled the situation and said that it was the right thing to do or he would have gotten in trouble. “All’s well that ends well,” Swift said, adding, “Because I think of it like this. I think you probably would have gotten in more trouble with Jimmy had he wandered out and been like, ‘Why is there this random 14-year-old tiny child sitting here with a guitar case? What’s happening here?’”
Kimmel continued with the joke, talking about throwing Igoe out for messing things up a decade earlier, saying, “I know it seems like a joke and Scott probably now is thinking this is a joke, but I’m actually now having him thrown out of the building.”

Taylor Swift Is Ready With Her New Album
It’s been a long time since Swift made an appearance on any talk show. The last time she was seen promoting her albums on shows was when ‘Midnights’ came out. This time, however, since the release of ‘Tortured Poets Department’ is set to happen on April 19, fans can expect a few surprises from the artist, as always.
In an acceptance speech video she made for the iHeart Radio Music Awards, Swift says, “We have so many exciting things ahead of us. I’m continuing on with the tour and, most importantly, I have a brand new album called The Tortured Poets Department, which comes out on April 19. I cannot wait to share it with you.”
“So, thank you for voting for me for this incredible honor — artist of the year,” she added, “I am so blown away and so thankful and I just can’t wait to keep having fun with you guys because we have a lot of exciting things coming up. Thank you so much.”
