Taylor Swift Deepfakes Go Viral
Celebrities are no strangers to the threat AI brings as deepfakes and fake covers of celebs and singers have become a trend on social media.
In a worse case, Taylor Swift becomes the newest victim of this threat as numerous pictures of Swift that have been moderated with the help of AI have started spreading. Most of these pictures show Taylor in sexually provocative poses.
After the posts gained traction, Swifties have been trending to protect Taylor Swift all across the platform as an attempt to protest Swift’s image.

Swift Is Considering Legal Action
According to a report by Daily Mail, the singer is considering taking legal action against the pictures.
A source revealed to the publication, “Whether or not legal action will be taken is being decided but there is one thing that is clear: these fake AI generated images are abusive, offensive, exploitative, and done without Taylor’s consent and/or knowledge. The Twitter account that posted them does not exist anymore. It is shocking that the social media platform even let them be up to begin with. These images must be removed from everywhere they exist and should not be promoted by anyone.”
“Taylor’s circle of family and friends are furious, as are her fans obviously. They have the right to be, and every woman should be. The door needs to be shut on this. Legislation needs to be passed to prevent this and laws must be enacted.” the source added.
Moreover, Swifties are coming together to post other pictures and videos of Swift to make sure the Deepfakes don’t come on a related search.
