In her latest song called ‘Music Sessions Vol.53,‘ Shakira took a dig at her ex-husband Gerard Pique after their famous split. In the song, Shakira mentions how Pique didn’t deserve a “she-wolf” like her. She says that a man like him deserves someone just like him, hinting at his new girlfriend Clara Chia.
She also talks about Pique’s mother, saying that the breakup left her being neighbors with her former mother-in-law. Lastly, she wishes Gerard all the best with his new girlfriend, calling her a “replacement” to her, as mentioned in The Guardian.

Can Gerard Sue Shakira For Her Song?
Shakira’s new songs clearly attack ex-partner Gerard and his now girlfriend Clara Chia. However, in no way has Shakira used any of their names directly in her lyrics. Hence, even if Pique wanted to take any legal action against her, he cannot go forward as it would be a clear loss.
Gerard’s lawyers have also advised him not to take any legal actions, since it would be very difficult to put up a fight as Shakira doesn’t mention any of their names anywhere. Hence, even if Pique wanted to sue her, he cannot do so.
