Justin Timberlake, an acclaimed Grammy-winning singer appeared on ‘The Tonight Show‘ and dropped a lore that not many would have expected. The ‘Can’t Stop This Feeling’ singer recounted his celebratory moment with the Kansas Chiefs player Travis Kelce, which soon turned into an ache in the neck, quite literally.
It all started on a golf course (as most non-boring things do). Here is how Justin remembers the incident.

Justin Timberlake and Jimmy Fallon did a chest bump as a fun greeting of sorts while the former made an appearance on ‘The Tonight Show’. This compelled the host, Jimmy Fallon to bring up the event which is sure to get a few chuckles out. The two, along with Travis Kelce and Patrick Mahomes. participated in a golf tournament in Las Vegas. There, Fallon managed to put the ball into the hole/cup from a sandpit. The feat was so extraordinary considering Fallon’s novice golf skills that “even the other team was rooting” for Fallon.
The team went into celebration. “Travis lifted me up in the air“, Fallon recalled. “Travis Kelce almost — I saw my life flash before my eyes,” Timberlake explained. “He went up and did one of those (chest bumps), and I was like, he’s doing it, I have to do it.” What Justin didn’t account for was that Travis was almost eighty pounds heavier than him and obviously bulkier considering his footballer frame. The duo did their celebratory jump, but Justin went toppling down due to the sheer force and ended up heads-on towards the ground.
Justin recalled his neck aching for weeks afterward. And if anyone would ask him what happened to his neck Justin would simply reply, “Travis Kelce.”

How Did Justin Timberlake And Travis Kelce Meet?
Well, anyone’s intuition would say they met through Taylor Swift. However, the two met through their common love for golf and have been golf buddies for a while now. The Messenger reports that Justin Timberlake and Travis Kelce played together in the 2022 American Century Championship celebrity golf tournament in Nevada. The two quickly forged a good friendship.
They are good enough friends that when Travis Kelce was asked who was the most famous person on his contact list (not the easy answer) during an interview. Travis answered without a thought that it was Justin Timberlake. The two surely seem to be on good terms just need to chest bump less into each other.
