Ahead of the 2016 Presidential elections, Trump allegedly paid adult film star, Stormy Daniels a hefty sum to not talk about their sexual encounter which took place in the year 2006.

Daniels has said that the two met around the same time as Trump married Melania, his third wife. He has denied these allegations and has maintained the payment was made to stop her “false and extortionist accusations.”

The two met at a celebrity golf tournament in Lake Tahoe and she later went to meet Trump in his hotel room. In 2007, he again requested to meet her and demanded sexual favors for her appearance on ‘The Celebrity Apprentice.’ Stormy denied his advances this time.

During the run-up to the 2016 election, she signed a non-disclosure agreement to not publicly talk about her relationship with Trump in exchange for $130,000.
