What Was Sam Smith And Kim Petras’ Performance About?
In the 65th Annual Grammy Awards 2023 that was held in Los Angeles, performances by Bad Bunny, Lizzo, Mary J. Blige and many more set the stage on fire. One such performance included that of ‘Too Good at Goodbyes‘ singer Sam Smith and “Heart to Break” singer Kim Petras, who is a transgender woman.
Their performance included a live rendition of their award-winning single called ‘Unholy.’ Smith was seen dressed up in a red leather latex suit along with a red hat with horns in it, portraying the “devil.” While, Petras danced inside a cage on stage, as the fire was shot from the stage.

Elon Musk’s Response To Smith’s Grammy Performance
As Sam Smith and Kim Petras took the Grammys stage on fire (literally), people haven’t stopped themselves from putting their thoughts out. There have been accusations of worshiping “Satan” and misleading the youth. As mentioned in New York Post, Texas Senator Ted Cruz also tweeted “This…is…evil.”
Elon Musk, in particular, did not really like Smith’s act. Taking to Twitter two days after the performance, he tweeted “End of days vibes” under a clip of the performance by the duo. In another tweet, Musk added, “If that’s satan, we have nothing to worry about.” However, Musk isn’t the only one to comment on the duo’s act.
