Seems like making X, formerly Twitter aesthetic is top in the priority list of Elon Musk. The social media platform has undergone many changes since its acquisition by the tech mogul. And the CEO himself has put in so much effort to keep the users entertained with his own tweets and memes.
Elon Musk is all over the microblogging site for most part of the day. And he brings changes to Twitter very often. Back in July, he had the name and logo changed. Then he went on to introduce or discard features to Twitter. Of the latest, the Tesla CEO has come to the decision to strip off headlines from the news articles.

Headlines Stripped From The News Article Links
Twitter, now X has thus stripped the headlines from the news links. The decision was made after Elon Musk thought it would make the site look better. Now the articles will appear on Twitter with the image and the text on the left-hand corner of the image will be nothing but the domain of the link. Clicking on the image leads you to the page. This latest change has been applicable from October 4, 2023, for iOS users and desktops.
The discussion about the change started in August. “This is coming from me directly. Will greatly improve the aesthetics,” Musk had tweeted back then. The change is applicable only to news articles and not advertisements.

Elon Musk’s Hostility Towards News Organisations
It has been a year since Elon Musk took over platform X. However, the acquisition by the tech genius has adversely affected many news organizations. As The Guardian observes, X has not been a major contributor to traffic to news organizations. But news sharing happens a lot through news sites. Also, Twitter plays a pivotal role in gathering news.
After Musk took over it seems like the traffic from the platform has further declined. A few media organizations have completely abandoned using Twitter. For instance, the Australian Broadcasting Corporation blamed X for toxic interaction.
To which Musk had pointed out their censorship. In addition, in August, the site appeared to delay loading links to news sites and rivals like Instagram, Reuters, and the New York Times.
