After a long wait of four years, the sequel to ‘Captain Marvel’ is finally ready to hit the big screen. Titled ‘The Marvels‘, it is scheduled to be released on November 10, 2023, and fans will get to witness Brie Larson returning to play the role of Carol Danvers.
For now, it seems like Danvers won’t be battling the villain all by herself. The reason is the casting of Teyonah Parris and Iman Vellani as Monica Rambeau and Kamala Khan respectively. But time will tell about the screen space the latter two characters would get. For now, let’s check how they would be linked to each other in the sequel.

‘The Marvels’: Connection Between Captain Marvel, Ms. Marvel, And Monica Rambeau Explained
The one thing that has been common between Captain Marvel, Ms. Marvel, and Monica Rambeau is that the latter two consider Carol as their inspiration. The post-credits of ‘Ms. Marvel’ featured Carol appearing in Ms. Marvel’s room and the latter’s bangle started to get powered up on its own.
Ms. Marvel’s great-grandmother was the one who discovered the first bangle and this hints towards a link with the Kree. It must be noted that Carol and the Kree have been at war with each other throughout the history of MCU.
The other bangle will possibly play an important role in linking the powers of Ms. Marvel and Captain Marvel. Although Monica revealed in the teaser that her powers are twisted between each other, detailed information about her contribution to the storyline remains unknown. It must be noted that Rambeau’s origin story has not been disclosed anywhere.

For now, it can be said with conviction that Carol, Monica, and Kamala would figure out a way to break their connection with each other. But that does not mean that it has ended the possibilities of forming a team and battling another villain in the future.
Phase Six of MCU has two projects scheduled to release in 2025 and 2026 and they are titled ‘Avengers: The Kang Dynasty’ and ‘Avengers: Secret Wars.’ Captain Marvel played an important role in defeating Thanos in ‘Avengers: Endgame’ and possibly she would team up with Ms. Marvel and Monica Rambeau in the upcoming Avengers films alongside other superheroes.
