‘Jungle Cruise’ was probably one of the best adventure fantasy films that came out in 2021. The performances of Dwayne Johnson and Emily Blunt were the major highlights of the film along with the visual effects and the storyline related to a flower that can cure anything.
Made on a budget of $200 million, the film was able to collect $220 million at the box office. The collections were considered to be a disappointment compared to the original expectations and many people believed that the reason was because of the simultaneous release on Disney+. ‘Jungle Cruise 2’ Is Expected To Be Better Than The Original
While audiences are eagerly waiting for ‘Jungle Cruise 2’, producer Hiram Garcia revealed a few details on what people can expect from the sequel. Seven Bucks Productions will be actively involved in the sequel and during the promotion of ‘Red Notice‘ in 2022, Garcia spoke to The Wrap and addressed the upcoming sequel.
Garcia stated that the fans can expect the leads to cover more territories and the because the first movie was set in the backdrop of London and Amazon, there are better plans for the next adventure. Garcia added that Frank and Lily’s relationship will also evolve in the sequel and it will be an important part of the storyline.

What Will Be The Plot Of ‘Jungle Cruise 2’?
Although plot details of ‘Jungle Cruise 2’ have not been revealed until now, it has been confirmed that Michael Green will be writing the screenplay, who also wrote the first film. Jaume Collet-Serra is also expected to return as the director.
The sequel will possibly feature Frank exploring more of London during the 20s. It was hinted in the first film that MacGregor is gay although it was not directly mentioned by himself or any other character. While the trio would go on another adventure in the upcoming sequel, audiences can expect to have some more fun with the best jokes coming out of Frank’s mouth.
A release date for the film has not been disclosed. The first film was delayed because of the pandemic and although there are no more restrictions compared to those days, this is a film that requires a lot of visual effects. Considering that, ‘Jungle Cruise 2’ might take 2-3 years to arrive on the big screen.
