The Titan submersible that went missing with five passengers on Sunday has not been found yet. Experts have been giving their opinion on what could have possibly happened to the vessel and the results have not been so positive so far.
Meanwhile, it must be noted that there have been several personalities who have already taken a test drive of the vessel a long time ago and they were not sure of the safety standard of the entire vehicle. The latest in this list is the Discovery Channel star, Josh Gates.

Josh Gates Refused To Take A Trip Of The Titan Submersible
Josh Gates was supposed to take a trip on the Titan submersible. Just like everyone else, Gates was given a chance to explore the Titanic wreckage and he was also planning to film the entire submersible.
Gates wrote in a tweet that OceanGate allowed him to explore the Titanic wreckage with the help of the Titan submersible but he rejected the same due to safety issues. He further stated: “I pray for the positive outcome to the rescue efforts of those aboard, including fellow ‘Explorers Club’ member Hamish Harding.”
Gates revealed that the submersible did not work properly during his dive following which he stepped down from a chance to record the entire vehicle. He stated that a lot of things about the vehicle have not been revealed and the details are very concerning.

Titan Submersible Went Missing On June 19, 2023
The Titan submersible went for a dive on June 19, 2023, following which its whereabouts remained a mystery. The passengers also included Stockton Rush, CEO of OceanGate which was involved in the establishment of the vehicle.
The vessel was expected to arrive at the surface by evening 7 p.m. but after it was not seen, the US Coast Guard received a missing report of the vessel. Authorities from different countries have already joined in to find the missing vehicle.
