For years, fans have hoped for a solo Hulk movie that truly unleashes the Green Goliath at his most powerful. However, due to past rights issues with Universal Pictures, Marvel has been limited in what they can do with him. Previously, insider MyTimeToShine confidently stated that World War Hulks is happening.

Moreover, this won’t be a straightforward adaptation of the World War Hulk comic. With ‘Thor: Ragnarok’ having already borrowed heavily from Planet Hulk, the MCU’s take on this storyline will likely take a different direction. Instead of Banner waging war against Earth, it seems the focus will be on multiple Hulks.

Captain America: Brave New World’ will also reportedly play a key role in setting up this storyline. Now, according to The Cosmic Circus, the movie is already in development. Additionally, it claims that ‘World War Hulk’ could take place on Battleworld, the fragmented planet ruled by different factions in the comics.

A Hulk Vs. Wolverine Showdown Might Also Be On The Horizon

Another thrilling rumor making the rounds is the potential for a Hulk vs. Wolverine showdown. With the X-Men officially entering the MCU, speculation is growing that Logan might be the one sent to take down the rampaging Hulk. If true, this would be a dream match-up for comic book fans.

Beyond the Hulk, Marvel is also reportedly moving forward with its Champions project. So, the Young Avengers can also be expected to make their debut. Kate Bishop is rumored to lead the team with other young heroes joining her. Additionally, insiders claim Hulking will be tied to a future Annihilation arc instead.

Moreover, ‘Daredevil: Born Again‘ is said to be laying the groundwork for a post-Secret Wars meeting between Daredevil and Spider-Man. If all these reports hold true, we’re about to enter one of the most exciting and unpredictable chapters of the MCU yet.
