As the US Presidential elections approach, citizens are growing increasingly concerned about the future of the country, especially after Donald Trump‘s assassination attempt. While the former President is getting his health restored, current President Joe Biden‘s health has fallen victim to the Covid-19 virus.
Biden has often been the centre of conversations and criticism for his old age, with many citing concerns over his health. Him testing positive for the virus further puts citizens into dismay. Here are all the details you need to know about his health.
Joe President Biden’s Health Update
Janet Murguía, president and CEO of UnidosUS, reported that President Joe Biden has tested positive for COVID-19. Biden was scheduled to give a speech on Wednesday night at the group’s meeting in Las Vegas, which was cancelled because of the infection.
“I was just on the phone with President Biden. And he shared his deep disappointment at not being able to join us this afternoon. The president has been at many events as we all know and he just tested positive for Covid,” Murguía told attendees.
This has put several citizens’ health under risk because, as noted by Murguía, he has attended several events with a large number of people and as known, the virus is highly contagious. No statements have been released from the President himself as of yet, while citizens are patiently waiting for an update.
