Selena Gomez is back in the news over a dispute with another star and this time it is not Hailey Beiber. The ‘Heart Wants What It Wants‘ singer has gone through some pretty tough times throughout her life.
Gomez has been suffering from Lupus which was diagnosed in 2014. She needed a kidney transplant as a complication of the disease. At that time her best friend Francia Raisa had stepped in and donated her kidney. But now it seems that the two had a fallout and are no longer friends. Read on to know what actually happened.

The ‘Lose You To Love Me’ singer and the ‘Grown-ish‘ star met back in 2007 while visiting the Children’s Hospital organized by Disney and ABC Family. Their friendship grew stronger from there and in 2017 when Francia stepped in to donate her kidney to the singer, it really showed how strong their bond was.
But it seems that they are not friends anymore. And this has a lot of reasons. Mainly, Francia was upset that Selena fell back into drinking after recovery and did not keep her word of stopping. Reportedly, Selena pushed away Francia when she voiced her concerns.
According to a source, “Selena did the exact opposite of what she said she was going to do when she got well again. She said she wasn’t going to drink anymore, but she did. [Francia] told her that she was just really making some unhealthy choices and that she was concerned for her.”

Why Did Selena And Francia’s Friendship End?
Amid Selena and Francia’s fraying friendship over her drinking, other problems also came in. The most notable one was the social media alteration that took place between the two stars.
In an interview with Rolling Stone about her Apple TV+ documentary ‘My Mind & Me‘, Selena said, “I never fit in with a cool group of girls that were celebrities. My only friend in the industry really is Taylor [Swift], so I remember feeling like I didn’t belong.”
When this reached Francia, she reacted with an “Interesting” and also unfollowed Selena on Instagram. In return, Selena replied, “Sorry I didn’t mention every person I know.”
Fans have also taken notice that Francia received very little mention in Selena’s documentary as well. Their long and beautiful friendship has come to an end for some unforeseen reasons.
