Season 3 of Prime Video’s R-rated superhero series ‘The Boys‘ has come to an end after that climactic battle and a couple of major deaths. Since a lot has happened in season 3, fans can’t wait to know what happens next.
Season 3 of the Prime video hit series witnessed Jensen Ackles joining as the grizzled, PTSD-riddled Soldier Boy. The season finale didn’t really go well for the character but showrunner Eric Kripke seems to have some plans for soldier boy’s future.

Eric Kripke Teases The Probability Of Soldier Boy’s Return in Season 4 of ‘The Boys’
Season 3 of ‘The Boys’ featured Soldier Boy getting defeated for good following a major climactic battle. The climax leads to Maeve, played by Dominique McElligott, losing her powers and Soldier Boy being put back into cryogenic stasis under the watchful eye of Laila Robins’ Grace Mallory.
‘The Boys’ showrunner Eric Kripke recently took the initiative to ensure the fans that their favorite Soldier Boy might show up in some different form in the upcoming season of the show.
“The old TV adage is like, never kill anyone unless you really, really have to. Never close a door, open a window,” Kripke said in an interview with Entertainment Weekly. “We’ll all have to wait and see, but I can’t imagine the series ending without Soldier Boy making another appearance.”
Jensen Ackles Also Opens Up About The Soldier Boy’s Future
Well, coming to the actor himself, Ackles who brought the character of Soldier Boy to life, has also shared a few words regarding the matter. He expressed that Eric is pretty much aware of what to do with the characters and as of now, Ackles can’t comment anything regarding what the future holds for Soldier Boy.
“I know Kripke is very smart about how he sends his characters off because he can always bring them back,” Ackles said. “So I know there are plans in talks, but I don’t know exactly what those are. But I told Krip, ‘Look, man, put me in anytime. You tell me when to come running, I’ll come running.’”
The season 4 of ‘The Boys’ will start filming in August.
