‘Thor: Love and Thunder’ no doubt snatched almost all the limelight since the time of its announcement. Teasers, trailer, and back-to-back exciting updates didn’t let the film slip off the headlines. The Taika Waititi directorial set the bar of expectations too high, especially since the franchise’s previous installment, ‘Thor: Ragnarok’, was an ultimate blast.
But, despite the pre-release excitement, ‘Thor: Love and Thunder’ met a lackluster fate and got the worst rating among Thor movies on Rotten Tomatoes.

‘Thor: Love and Thunder’ Receives Worst Rating Among All The Thor Films
No franchise has probably gone through as many ups and downs as the Thor film series has. While the first movie had an average start, ‘Thor: The Dark World’ experienced a shameful outcome as far as critics were concerned. And once again, after a month of Thor 4 hitting the big screens, it has broken the records of the franchise, but not in a pleasant way.
According to the current reviews, ‘Thor: Love and Thunder’ has become the worst-rated Thor film on Rotten Tomatoes. The movie is currently at 65 percent critic approval on the Tomatometer. The percentage refers that 65 percent of critics gave the film a positive score, which is slightly less than ‘Thor: The Dark World‘ which had a score of 66%.
On the other hand, ‘Thor’ and ‘Thor: Ragnarok‘ held high scores of 77 and 93 percent, respectively. Well, with this, we can conclude that Taika Waititi’s two tries in the Thor franchise hold both the ranks, the first and the last.
How The Low Scores Might Affect Thor’s Future
Well, it is safe to say that there’s much time for another Thor film as Thor 4 was released recently. Within a month of release, a score of 65 percent can be called a bit lower than average. So there’s enough chance that the scores can face a drastic increase in the near future. But what if it doesn’t?
It’s still unclear if the low scores will eventually affect the franchise’s future, or if it’s already doing so. But if this continues, then there are chances that it might alter the possibility of a fifth part of the franchise. However, the Thor saga has always been an example when it comes to beating all the odds. Fans are hoping that the God of Thunder would make it happen once again.
