10. Ellen DeGenres
The younger generations really enjoy watching ‘The Ellen DeGeneres Show‘. Ellen has always been a witty showgirl in addition to being a superb host. With a generally “happy-go-lucky” vibe to the show, she is a TV entertainer who largely relies on poking fun at people, whether they are in the crowd or guests. Her programme has the feel of a stand-up comedy episode more so than a conversation show. She was always fantastic at hosting award shows for this additional reason. Recently, Ellen DeGeneres has been under fire for allegedly being a bully boss and creating an unacceptably toxic workplace.
9. Trevor Noah
Laughing out loud is always real with the funny Trevor Noah. In addition to being shrewd and intelligent, he has a terrific sense of humour. You won’t like his show if you’re a conservative because he is also quite political, which means that he becomes too serious at times and swings left. While they are not always the best, he occasionally brings guests. His show is interesting overall.
8. Jimmy Kimmel
Although Kimmel may not be the funniest person on TV, his guests are always of the highest calibre. He talks with his guests more intelligently as well. His show has recently gotten more political, which causes him to engage in serious subjects more frequently and deliver lengthy, thought-provoking, and opinionated monologues. Even yet, he is generally open-minded and his show features largely humorous moments. He has some great moments of interacting with his guests and overall is a good host.
7. Seth Meyers
Seth Meyers has some of the best monologues among all the other talk show hosts. Meyers is funny, quick-witted, and brings good company to the show. The only downside, however, is that he’s too political. He makes a lot of political remarks that generally make the show a little serious for a minute. Despite that, he’s a good host and his show is worth watching.
6. Stephen Colbert
Stephen Colbert has a great personality on screen. He’s sharp, quick-witted, funny and makes smart jokes. He can have a smart conversation and also be funny at the same time. Although same as Meyers, Colbert makes a lot of partisan remarks which might affect the vibe of the show. Despite all of that, Colbert is wickedly funny and it’s fun to watch a host who makes jokes without being mean to the guests or acting dumb.

5. James Corden
Owing to his fantastic Carpool Karaoke segment, James Corden has been able to attract the top musical performers. James may not be the funniest person on the list, but he gets full points for maintaining a nice atmosphere on the show and having the ability to make guests feel at ease, which is a quality that many talk show hosts lack. He has some fantastic guests on his show, and his show is rather conversational than funny, but nevertheless, he has some brilliant activities for the guests and his show is a win-win most of the time.
4. Conan O’Brien
Many regard Conan as the funniest talk show host currently on television. His show is worth watching because of the way he handles his guests and his wonderful sense of humour. Additionally, he stands out from the majority of other recent late-night programmes since his show is generally entirely apolitical. This also means that he rarely broaches serious subjects on his show and instead focuses on jokes and lighthearted banter with his guests. Also, his interactions with the spectators and his teammates are humorous and entertaining to witness.
3. Graham Norton
Norton provides a more calm environment for his visitors and doesn’t sit behind a desk with them by his side. He also invites all three of his visitors out together. It creates a welcoming environment for them because the attention isn’t just on them. Not only that, but the visitors can joke both with him and with one another. The discussions are open between people; Graham does not make the show about him. It’s actually refreshing because it feels like a fun conversation with four of your favorite celebrities.
2. Johnny Carson
At a time when there weren’t many talk shows, Johnny was an excellent comedian and host. Carson was amusing and witty in his own right, but he never made himself the focus of attention while he was on the show. The guests’ skills were utilized, and he gave them the opportunity to shine. His jokes were original and humorous and he talked to all his guests like he knew them for a long time.
1. Jimmy Fallon
Though he may not be the funniest person on this list, Jimmy Fallon is a genuinely nice person. His positivity and the humor in his performance make it worth watching. His show has great music and the best guests. Also, his show is primarily apolitical, therefore it rarely delves into serious subjects. He appeals to a wide audience because of the way he treats his visitors and audiences. He always treats his visitors with respect and appears to be genuinely interested in them. He makes the show all about them, asking them questions that the fans want answers to. He also plays some nice games with his guests and his skits are hilarious.
