    What Will Trevor Noah Do After Quitting ‘The Daily Show’?

    The comedian already has big plans for his future. The television personality, Trevor Noah has already made big plans for his future. ‘The Daily Show’ had a seven-year-long run and now the host has decided to quit the show. The exit announcement was made on the September 29 episode of the show.

    The Emmy Award winner will be hosting the show for the last time on Comedy Central on December 8. The current host joined the show back in 2015. It was Jon Stewart who had run the show till 2015 from 1998. Noah’s slapstick humor along with the satiric analysis of current affairs took to be loved by the audience. Now at the prime of his career, Trevor has decided to tack a step back from the spotlight.

    What Are His Future Plans?

    The stand-up comedian had dropped by ‘The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon‘ on October 13, where he discussed his departure. When asked about what he was going to do next this was his reply. “Everything. I’m going to get drumming lessons from Quest[love],” he joked. “I’m so excited to do everything. I didn’t get to travel as much, doing stand-up around the world — I’m excited to do that …Producing, working behind the camera, working on different ideas. Going back home spending more time with family in South Africa. Everything is what I’m going to be doing.

    The television star has a series of documentaries named ‘The Turning Point‘ releasing on MSNBC, all of which will highlight the major topics in the States- including climate change, reproductive rights, and the capitol riots. ‘Shouting Down Midnight‘, the first docuseries will premiere on Oct. 23, followed by ‘From Devil’s Breath‘- produced by Leonardo DiCaprio will release on Nov. 13, and ‘Split Screen‘ on Nov. 20.

    The South African comedian also answered one of the frequently asked questions of why he was quitting. “People ask you this question as if you’re telling them bad news, and I can understand that,” he adds. “I think of this as a joyous thing. I lived through a crazy time; I shared it with people who were kind enough to share it with me. We lived through something, and what’s on the other side? I don’t take anything for granted anymore. And don’t believe that life is a given. I don’t assume that things will come to me. So I just go, ‘This is it. This is time,'” the 38-year-old answered.
