The iconic Hollywood star George Clooney recently appeared on the 20th-anniversary episode of ‘Jimmy Kimmel Live!‘ In the episode, the actor addressed his Bell’s Palsy experience as a teenager.
Snoop Dogg also joined Clooney and had chitchat after a friendly toast. Snoop has a history of co-hosting a few episodes of the talk show when it first started. While the three headed down the nostalgia lane and talked about getting their audience drunk, Clooney later revealed his health condition as a teenager.

What Is Bell’s Palsy?
Bell’s Palsy is a clinical condition that causes sudden but temporary weakness in the muscles. Healthline describes it as a “paralysis of the muscles in the face. It can occur when the nerve that controls your facial muscles becomes inflamed, swollen, or compressed. The condition causes one side of your face to droop or become stiff.“
Clooney revealed about having this in high school when Jimmy shared some of his old pictures. “George, we happen to have some pictures of you from, this was a little before high school,” said Kimmel. “I want to point out that my mother cut my hair,” said Clooney when the popular host showed a picture of him from the time he was 13 years old with bowl-cut hair.
Kimmel then showed another photo from when George Clooney was 15 years old. It is fully visible in the picture that Clooney has a slanted smile in the pic.

George Clooney Opens Up About His Medical Condition
“Now wait, I want to point out something because you’re going to laugh, gonna make a joke. I have Bell’s palsy there and half of my face is paralyzed,” said the ‘Ticket to Paradise‘ star. Clooney proceeded to jokingly cover half of his face to show how different the other side look. He added, “If you go like this, on the other side, it’s a completely different face. So now make your joke. Come on, funny man. Come on, let me give you my sad face.“
Kimmel said, however, “You know what? I didn’t have a joke, George, and you really brought everybody down.” The three had another toast again to bring things back up.
