Is ‘The Curse Of La Llorona’ Related To ‘The Conjuring’?
According to the marketing campaign of ‘The Curse of La Llorona’, the film is linked to ‘The Conjuring’ Universe. When the film first premiered at SSXW, the reviews coming out from the audiences proved that it was connected to ‘The Conjuring’ Universe.
The one thing which connects the film to ‘The Conjuring’ Universe is the appearance of Father Perez. We remember the character’s appearance in ‘Annabelle’ who tried to help John and Mia Form from the evil doll. The character was attacked when he was taking Annabelle inside his church and had to be hospitalized.
‘Annabelle’ was set in the background of 1967 while ‘The Curse of La Llorona’ took place in 1973. He once again appeared as an advisor who revealed the story of La Llorona to Anna Tate-Garcia. He even addressed his encounter with Annabelle in the past and a flashback scene of the same also appeared in the movie.

Is A Sequel Happening?
‘The Curse of La Llorona’s connection to ‘The Conjuring’ Universe could be a big debate but the reports clarify that they are somehow linked.
