The Iranian woman Sahar Tabar caught everyone’s attention as she shared on Instagram spooky photographs that resembled the Hollywood actress Angelina Jolie. Soon the news spread that she had undergone plastic surgery to look like the actress. And that it had failed miserably.
Later the influencer was also arrested in October 2019 and was released after 14 months. The woman who looked like the emaciated and creepy version of Jolie has now shown her real face in an interview recently. And it is pretty amusing to know how misleading the internet and social media can be.

Sahar Tabar: ‘Zombie Angelina Jolie’
The Iranian influencer Fatemeh Khishvand is popularly known by her Instagram username Sahar Tabar. Her famed photos gave her the title ‘zombie Angelina Jolie’. She became famous as she posted photos of receiving plastic surgeries and the subsequent changes. It was believed that the woman had undergone about 50 cosmetic surgeries. People had pitied her for the spooky look that she had acquired.
But it was all a joke. The famed photos were just the result of photoshop editing and makeup. She claimed to have used computer effects in order to make the photos that appeared online. Tabar stated that she had lip fillers, liposuction, and a nose job after being released from prison and not before.

Why Was The Influencer Arrested?
The influencer had been arrested in October 2019 on charges of corruption and blasphemy. She was sentenced to ten years of prison. But she was later released from jail after 14 months. Tabar was jailed for obscenity and insulting the hijab. There were also public complaints against the then-19-year-old.
While the creepy look that she posted on Instagram was all a joke. It was not due to any blotched plastic surgery. “Sahar Tabar is only 19. Her joke landed her in jail. Her mother cries every day to get her innocent daughter freed. Dear Angelina Jolie, we need your voice here,” one of the activists had told the Independent during the time of the arrest.
