Why Elon Musk Wants Other Countries To Be Like Israel?

It has been a field day for the users at Twitter as Elon Musk is not stopping his notorious wit anytime soon. Even before he acquired the platform, the Tesla owner has been spreading hilarity on the platform which was downright offensive sometimes. But, since he completed the deal, he has been taking some radical decisions on the platform. Recently, he went on a reinstatement spree restoring  Donald Trump’s account and seeing Kanye West reactivate his.

Kanye West too has a history on the platform for spewing hate. Since October 2022, the rapper has been projecting erratic behavior uprightly attacking Jews with his anti-Semitic posts and comments. Now, when he reactivated his account, he did not stop poking and irking the community by posting “Shalom :)”. However, it did not help when Musk jumped in to fan his behavior. So, when Israel asked Ye to keep them out of it, the tech mogul did not hold back to comment.

The Space X owner is having fun with his acquisition. Instead of focusing on losing revenue, he is aiming at playing with his new toy that is Twitter. Many advertisers are backing out due to negative engagement on the platform. In November 2022, he lost more than half of his workforce either through mass layoffs or employees resigning in large numbers. For Elon, engagement is more important than dwindling finances.

So, for engagement, he is poking the ‘Donda’ rapper subtly promoting his insensitive behavior towards Jews. After the Paris Fashion Week disaster, the ‘College Dropout’ rapper is on a rampage hating the Jewish people. In retaliation, he was suspended from social media platforms like Twitter and Instagram. But, after the reinstatement of Donald Trump, Ye has marked his presence back on the app.

After getting suspended for wanting to go “Defcon” on Jewish people, he posted “Shalom” with a smile emoticon. To this, Israel’s official page replied “We would very much like to be excluded from this narrative”. Shalom is a Hebrew word indicating peace. To this Elon Musk replied, “Your tweets are good! More countries should tweet like this. No fun being all stuffy”.

One of the tech journalists from Israel asked the billionaire to visit the country. To this, Musk replied, “I have! It was great”. Despite the hate-mongering behavior that Kanye has displayed, Israel’s official was tongue and cheek about the situation. The page tagged Taylor Swift in the reply to Kanye.

One of the major pop culture events that happened last decade was the Kanye West and Taylor Swift beef. It all started at MTV VMAs 2009 when Taylor Swift won the award for Best Female Video, but Kanye decided to snatch her moment. He said, “Taylor, I’m really happy for you, I’ma let you finish, but Beyoncé had one of the best videos of all time!”
