In 2016, West was diagnosed with bipolar disorder. However, now the rapper is claiming that he was “misdiagnosed“. Following his return to Twitter after the ban, Ye made some claims.

He shared personal text with his former personal trainer, Harley Pasternak, who is Jewish. “What should be obvious by now is that I was raised to stand for my truth regardless of the consequences,” he tweeted.

The tweet was accompanied by a screenshot of his alleged conversation with the trainer. “So I will say this again I was mentally misdiagnosed and nearly drugged out of my mind to make me a manageable well behaved celebrity,” he said.

Pasternak asks West to have a “loving, open conversation” with him based on “fact”, in the text messages. He also asked his former friend to not use “cuss words” or “crazy stuff.”
