Some important world leaders too had to make the tough decision, including Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau.
After the United Kingdom’s Prime Minister, Rishi Sunak, went to watch ‘Barbie’ with his family, Justin Trudeau also made the same choice and went out to watch the film with his son. The father-son duo donned pink outfits to celebrate the feminist satire starring Margot Robbie and Ryan Gosling. However, the Canadian Prime Minister has caught the ire of conservatives, who have questioned his sexuality after he posted about watching ‘Barbie.’

Now, the conservatives are attacking Justine Trudeau for donning a pink outfit to watch ‘Barbie’ with his son. He posted a tweet with his son, writing, “We’re team Barbie.” This did not sit well with TV presenter Piers Morgan, who replied to his tweet, saying, “So glad I’m not Canadian.” Many mock him for speculating that he has come out of the closet following his separation from his wife.

The Prime Minister Announces Separation From His Wife, Sophie Grégoire
At the beginning of August 2023, Justin Trudeau and his wife, Sophie Grégoire, announced their separation on Instagram. The couple stated on their individual Instagram pages that they made their decision after “many meaningful and difficult conversations.”
The PMO confirmed that Justin Trudeau and Sophie Grégoire have signed legal documents. It said, “They have worked to ensure that all legal and ethical steps with regards to their decision to separate have been taken and will continue to do so moving forward.” Justin and Sophie have three children—Xavier, Ella-Grace, and Hadrien.
An official closer to them said that Trudeau will continue to live with their children at the Rideau Cottage in Ottawa. Sophie will be moving to a separate house, but she will spend considerable time at the Rideau Cottage. For the past few years, Sophie has not played much role in his political career with appearances and strategic visits. The couple was last spotted at Canada Day events in Ottawa in July 2023.
