As the 2024 American elections get nearer, celebrities in Hollywood are speaking up and urging citizens to go out and vote for the Presidential elections. Both the candidates- Donald Trump and Kamala Harris have found support and are getting endorsed by different celebrities, who are also speaking up about the importance of voting.
Among others, Megan Thee Stallion is now also taking a stand for voting, and calling out people who refuse to vote. Here’s what the rapper had to say about people who are steering clear of voting this year.
Megan Thee Stallion Is Calling Out People Who Don’t Vote
The 29-year-old rapper talked about the importance of voting in her cover story for Billboard, emphasising that voting is essential for Democratic candidate Kamala Harris to win. “I don’t like it when I see people saying, ‘I’m not voting. F–k it,’” Megan Thee Stallion says, “What the f–k are you talking about? You’re going to complain about what you don’t like but you’re not going to help the cause?”

She adds, “I think that’s very irresponsible because if you don’t like what Trump has going on, why even aid in him being the president again?”

Megan Thee Stallion Supports Kamala Harris’ Campaign
Megan has performed at the Democratic Party’s July gathering in Atlanta and has been among the most outspoken singers endorsing Harris’ campaign against Republican contender Donald Trump. While performing at Lollapalooza in August, she addressed the gathering, saying, “Kamala said she wants a ceasefire. Kamala said she supports women’s rights. And she said she’s tired of those high-ass gas prices … It’s Hotties for Harris, goddammit!”
Talking about the possibility of Kamala becoming President she said, “To be alive in a lifetime where a Black woman or a woman at all could be the president, I feel so blessed,” she says. This is what the future is about. We really about to get a strong, Black female in there. I feel like America needed a woman to come in here and put a woman’s touch on it.”
She added, “It’s been going a little crazy lately, and we need somebody to put their foot down. I feel like Kamala, she gon’ do that.”
