Why Was Yoda On The Dagobah Planet For Twenty Years?
As shown in ‘Star Wars: Episode III- Revenge of the Sith,’ Darth Sidious commanded the execution of all Jedi. But as all fans know, not all the Jedi were executed. The master Yoda was one, who survived and went into hiding on a planet called Dagobah and stayed there for 20 years.
Yoda was introduced in the Star Wars sequel ‘The Empire Strikes Back,’ where he was seen as a Jedi Master. He was in hiding until he was discovered by Luke Skywalker who goes to Dagobah in his X-Wing. Luke goes to Yoda to train with him so that he could fight against Darth Vader.

‘Star Wars’: How Did Yoda Survive On Dagobah In Isolation?
In the upcoming book that is to be released in April 2023, details are revealed about how Yoda survived his two decades of isolation. Special details are given about Yoda’s blissl. As mentioned in the book, Yoda understood the importance of music and its coping abilities with isolation.
So he created this blissl and played tunes that were in sync with nature. This blissl is a small musical instrument that Yoda created and carried around on his neck. It helped him to cope with his solitude and having to spend almost two decades on the Planet Dagobah alone.
