After teaming up to escape, Mae agreed to leave her fate in the hands of the Stranger. In a shocking turn, he used the Force to completely wipe Mae’s memory of all events. This left her with no recollection of Osha or their time together on Brendok as children.

Mae’s mindwipe opened up the possibility for her character to continue playing a role in the wider Star Wars universe unaware of her deeper connections. However, it also served to remove her from Osha’s darker path going forward.
