Elon Musk has been attempting to save the sinking ship that is Twitter, aka X. Since he bought the platform in the historic $44 billion purchase, the billionaire has been unable to resurrect the plummeting finances on the platform. Musk faced a heavy loss of advertisement revenue when the advertisers fled from the platform in October 2022.
However, Elon Musk has devised many policies and features to compensate for the lost advertising revenue. The Tesla owner started an $8/month subscription plan. In the initial days, he urged his team to create a revenue stream like YouTube. While he is still facing further plummeting advertising revenue, he urged famous content creators like Mr. Beast to upload their content on X. After initial refusal, the mega YouTuber has made his debut on X.
Elon Musk Reacts To Mr. Beast Posting A Video On X
There is no opportunity that the X-owner, Elon Musk, has missed to stabilize the revenue of X. In 2023, after Tucker Carlson was fired from Fox News, Musk invited him to conduct his segment on X, promising ad-revenue sharing.
My videos cost millions to make and even if they got a billion views on X it wouldn’t fund a fraction of it :/
I’m down though to test stuff once monetization is really cranking!

Recently, Elon Musk also asked Mr. Beast, the famous YouTuber, to release his content on X. However, he refused to do so due to low monetization opportunities, but Mr. Beast did not completely refuse the offer. He wrote, “I’m down though to test stuff once monetization is really cranking!”
