Are Prince Harry And Meghan Markle Related By Blood?

Prince Harry And Meghan Markle

The reports of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle being cousins came a long time ago following an investigation by The Daily Mail. The duo is linked to each other through a 15th Century English ancestor of the Queen Mother, the High Sheriff of County Durham Ralph Bowles, whose family roots were at the Streatlam Castle.

Markle’s royal connection comes from the side of her father Thomas. Bowes’ granddaughter Bridget tied the knot with John Hussey, whose grandson Christopher Hussy shifted to the US in 1632, assisting to search for Nantucket, Massachusetts.

The generations continued and this is what led to produce Meghan Markle. On the other hand, it was reported in the past that Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philip were also cousins and were of the same bloodline.
