Since 2020, tensions between Prince Harry, Meghan Markle, and the royal family have been on the rise. The couple decided to step down from their royal duties after continuous harassment from the royal family and scrutiny by the royal media. But the rift has increased since Harry and Meghan have been releasing content, slandering the royal family in public.
In 2021, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle sat down with Oprah Winfrey to chronicle their victimhood by levying several grave accusations against the royal family. The couple continued to malign the image of the royal family with printed and streaming content. Due to this, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have faced repercussions like losing their UK residence, and now King Charles III has even gotten royals out of their titles.

King Charles III Has Snubbed Prince Harry And Meghan Markle From The ‘Non-Working Royals’ Title
Since the death of Queen Elizabeth II, the British monarchy has undergone a huge transformation. After King Charles III descended from the throne, Britain’s economy went through a turbulent time. So, he decided to cut the expenses from the Privy Purse. Charles ordered the family members to take care of their properties with personal expenses. Due to this, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle lost the Frogmore Cottage residence.
In August 2023, Prince Harry was stripped of the title of ‘His Royal Highness’. On the official website of the royal family, the title does not exist anymore. Now, a source told the royal expert Ephraim Hardcastle that King Charles III has categorized the members of the royal family into three categories: Senior Royals, Working Royals, Non-Working Royals, and Others. As per the source, Harry and Meghan have been added to the “Others” category along with the disgraced royal, Prince Andrew.

The Monarch Possess Power To Bring The Ex-Royals Back
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have lost the narrative after exhausting all possible angles to malign the image of the royal family. Harry scathingly attacked his father in both the Netflix docuseries and his memoir, ‘Spare’. After losing the royal titles and residence, Harry still has a chance to come back to the UK due to his role as the Councilor of State.
Grigorij Richters, the CEO of Global PR and Communications, thinks that, as the Councilors of State must have a residence in the UK, Charles can extend an olive branch to Prince Harry. Grigorji said, “I believe the King will grant Harry a place to live in Britain. It would be the right thing to do; after all, the King is Harry’s father, and it would take a lot of the drama out of the situation.”
He continued, “I believe the Royal Family’s goal should be to simply resolve conflicts and move forward. They can’t keep becoming involved in all of this drama. If the King allows Harry to live in Britain, he will set a good example for the entire family and country, taking the sting out of the situation and making it a non-issue.”
