Last month, Buckingham Palace announced that Prince Harry will be attending the coronation ceremony of King Charles. This put a full stop to months-long speculation that Harry and Meghan Markle will not be invited as they have irked the British Royal family members.
A day before the coronation, the Duke of Sussex arrived in London on a commercial flight. This surprised a lot of people as the royals mostly use private jets to commute. But this is seen as a move to keep a low profile amid all the uproar his memoir created earlier this year.

Prince Harry Opts For A Commercial Flight To Reach London
Prince Harry arrived in London on May 5 a day before King Charles’ coronation. The event will officially crown Charles and his wife, Camilla as the head of the United Kingdom and 14 other Commonwealth realms.
Harry will be seated 10 rows behind the other senior members of the British Royal family. He is also not expected to be seen on the balcony of Buckingham Palace along with the royals.
In September 2021, Harry and Meghan Markle took a private jet to travel after speaking at Global Citizen Live in New York City. It was an event to raise awareness of the effects of climate change.
Several people took to social media to slam them for their hypocrisy. “They lecture us on our carbon footprint while taking private jets to polo matches,” one person tweeted. “Hypocrites don’t unite people.” Since then, the couple has opted for commercial flights to travel.

Meghan Markle Will Stay In US With Her Kids
Meghan Markle has opted to stay in California with her two children, Lilibet and Archie. While the couple was invited to the coronation, their kids were not mentioned in it.
Harry is expected to spend only a couple of hours in the UK and will fly back to the US to attend Archie’s 4th birthday which falls on the same day. “Harry’s going to make every effort to get back in time for Archie’s birthday”, a source said.
The Duke of Sussex will be staying at Frogmore Cottage in the UK for the coronation. However, Harry has no official role at the event as he and Meghan stepped down from their royal duties in 2020.
