Recently, Prince Harry became the recipient of the Living Legends of Aviation Award. The Duke of Sussex received the honor for his service as a helicopter pilot during the Afghanistan War. During the acceptance speech, Harry made fun of King Charles III amidst the royal feud.
Prince Harry Recalls His First Flight Experience With King Charles III
Among the four recipients, Prince Harry became one of the honoraries at the Living Legends of Aviation Awards in Los Angeles. While receiving the award, Prince Harry recalled how he was terrified during his first flight experience in a Wessex helicopter while cracking a joke about King Charles III.
During Prince Harry’s speech, he said, “I think I was maybe seven or eight years old in a Wessex helicopter, and I jumped into it so excited. And then my father jumped in behind the controls and I was terrified.”

Harry Also Took A Dig At John Travolta
It seems like Prince Harry was in a good mood during the recent Living Legends of Aviation Awards. While Meghan Markle was absent from the event, Prince Harry had fun poking fun at the host, John Travolta. Harry reminisced about the event in 1985 when John Travolta danced with his mother, Princess Diana, at the White House.
Prince Harry said, “This is nice. Thank you, Captain John.” He added, “Don’t go running away. I was one year old when you danced with my mom.” Harry joked about how the actor is still “dining out on that.” The Duke of Sussex continued, “But look at us now, it’s great! So, if we’re not going to dance together, we’ll fly together.”
