Prince Harry reportedly plans to spend much more time in Britain after his recent reunion with King Charles left him feeling “buoyed”, “very happy” and “really energized”. Sources claim the Duke of Sussex now wants to return “every few months” over the next year.
Harry’s visits will allow him to reconnect with his father and wider family while supporting his UK-based charities in person. His next trip is already expected in September, but whether Meghan Markle and their children will accompany him remains unclear.
Prince Harry Will Return To Britain In September

Harry will reportedly visit the UK for around a week in September. He plans to attend several engagements connected to the Invictus Games, which Birmingham will host next summer, and WellChild, the charity that supports seriously ill children.

Meghan may join him alongside Prince Archie, seven, and Princess Lilibet, five. However, the family has not yet decided whether the Duchess of Sussex and the children will make the trip.
King Charles secretly hosted Harry, Meghan and their children at Highgrove last month during a long-awaited reunion. Queen Camilla also attended the gathering at the Gloucestershire estate. The meeting marked the first public in-person reunion between Charles and Harry in four years. It also allowed the King to see Archie and Lilibet for the first time since 2022, when they were three and one.
Harry Wants A Stronger Foothold In The UK

Meghan later posted a photograph of Harry and their children carrying bouquets through the gardens at Althorp. Reports suggested they were heading to Princess Diana’s grave to lay the flowers.

Harry reportedly wants to visit Britain more regularly so he can spend time with his father and wider family. He also believes that in-person meetings will help him provide better support to his UK-based charities.
A source close to Harry told The Sunday Times, “The template for his visits has been working well, so the frequency of trips will increase, especially in the run-up to Invictus, which he’s determined to make the best games yet. So he’ll be coming back and forth a lot more, every few months.”
The source continued: “The way the wind is blowing, he’s going to want to be here more and more. He’s happy these trips can now have more focus on the patronages and be less obscured by the other nonsense. He wants more of a foothold here, more trips back, less courtroom drama. And he always loves seeing his family.”
It remains unknown whether Harry will meet Charles during his September visit because the King is expected to spend his summer break at Balmoral in Scotland. Sources also say no one has decided whether Harry will stay at Buckingham Palace. Harry is also believed to have invited his father to next summer’s Invictus Games in Birmingham. The invitation appears to serve as an olive branch as the Duke continues rebuilding his relationship with the King.
