The royal family drama continues to brew even after King Charles‘s cancer diagnosis, which had ignited some hopes for his reconciliation with his younger estranged son Prince Harry. However, things still look gloomy between the two, as Prince Harry‘s recent visit to London also bore no shared moments between the father-son duo.
Reports earlier indicated that King Charles would not be able to spare time to see Prince Harry while he is in London because of the monarch’s extremely busy schedule. However, some new reports have revealed that the monarch did offer the Duke to stay in a royal residence. Adding a new twist to the drama, Harry refused the offer. Here’s what happened.

Here’s Why Prince Harry Refused King Charles’s Offer For Royal Accommodation
Prince Harry recently visited his home country London but refused to stay in the royal palace despite being offered accommodation by King Charles himself, a source has revealed. The Sunday Times’ royal editor Roya Nikkhah, claimed that Prince Harry refused the monarch’s offer of accommodation.
He instead chose to stay in a hotel during his trip which was chiefly to attend a service commemorating the 10th anniversary of the Invictus Games, an event he co-founded. Prince Harry no longer has an official residence in the U.K. since he and wife Meghan Markle stepped down from their royal duties in 2020 and moved to California.
While many speculated that Prince Harry would meet his father during the visit, King Charles had a busy schedule and they did not have the opportunity to meet. This comes amidst ongoing tensions between Harry and the royal family, and adds another layer of drama to the entire royal family saga.

Royal Family Drama Continues To Brew With No Reconciliation In Sight
Despite the visible dent in their relationship, both King Charles and Prince Harry have made efforts to mend the relationship, particularly after Charles was diagnosed with cancer earlier this year. Prince Harry was quick to jet off to the UK to be by his father after the monarch announced his cancer diagnosis.
Several experts at the time contended that the royal health scare might work in favor of their deteriorated relationship and mend things a bit between the father-son duo. However, the expected reconciliation does not seem in sight.
Other than the problematic dynamic between the father-son duo, the Duke of Sussex’s relationship with his brother Prince William is also dented and seems to be beyond repair at this point. For William, a different battle is coming, as both his father and his wife have been diagnosed with cancer together.
