Though attempts have been made from either side to better their relationship, it seems like there’s nothing more to be done.
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle stepped down from their position as senior working royals in 2020. This was followed by their bombshell interview with Oprah Winfrey. The relationship between the royals and the couple worsened after the release of the Netflix docu-series and the publication of ‘Spare’.

Kate Middleton ‘Hurt And Insulted’ By Prince Harry And Meghan Markle
Prince William and Kate Middleton will not be trying to make any amends in their relationship with Prince Harry and Meghan Markle. They have closed their minds to the idea of fixing the rift between the two parties. Talking to OK Magazine, it was Jennie Bond, the former BBC royal correspondent gave an expert opinion on the issue.
“Catherine has been hurt and insulted by things that Harry and Meghan have said,” Bond said. The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge tried to bridge the gap in their relationship at Prince Philip‘s funeral in April 2021. However, it ended up in a ‘blazing row’ which closed any chance of reconciliation.
“There comes a point when you just have to accept that happy families are not a game that everyone can play,” the royal expert commented. According to Bond, the older couple have “closed their minds” to reconciliation. Also, they have decided to move on with their lives. “She and William are a very strong team, and I suspect that, together, they’ve come to the conclusion that the rift with Harry cannot be fixed in the foreseeable future,”

Kate Middleton and Prince William are ‘great support’ to each other. The royal expert shares that the Princess of Wales is the ‘most incredible source of encouragement for William’. Also, Bond points out that the couple has a marriage that is built on enduring friendship. “William can be quite hot-headed, but Catherine is adept at calming him down,” she added.
Trouble between the siblings started in 2019. Prince Harry and Prince William had decided to take different paths in life. The events that unfurled henceforth caused more distance between the brothers. Both the brothers are now dependent on their wives for more support and strength.
