Queen Camilla Reveals King Charles Won’t Listen To Anybody And Do As He Pleases Amid Cancer BattleĀ

It seems that although they are the royal family of Britain, they are very similar to common people like you and me. Amidst the alarming news of King Charles fighting cancer comes a health update from Queen Camilla. The current king of England has been suffering gravely with his health.

Not only the monarch, but hid daughter-in-law has also been battling cancer since January. Kate Middleton chose to stay out of public eyes after announcing her diagnosis in March. After the coronation, King Charles swept into office rather smoothly but he cannot perform his duties to the fullest because of his heath condition.

Recently, Queen Camilla spoke to writer Lee Child. Child joined Her Majesty at the Queenā€™s Reading Room Festival at Hampton Court Palace on Saturday. This is where the Queen revealed a little update on the King’s health.

As reported by Sky News, Queen Camilla had said to Child that the King is ā€œdoing fine except he wonā€™t slow down and wonā€™t do what heā€™s told.ā€  In response, the ā€˜Preacherā€™ author quipped that Charles ā€œsounds to me like a typical husband.ā€ King Charles stumbled across his diagnosis of cancer during receiving treatment for a hypertrophied prostate. But he has not revealed to the public the type of cancer he has.

The 79-year-old monarch has always loved interacting with his subjects and attending royal events. So when his diagnosis of cancer was made, he had to take a step back from his royal duties. But now, he is easing back into his commitments.

King Charles and Queen Camilla traveled to France to attend the commemorative D-Day ceremony. They were also spotted at the British memorial event at Ver-Sur-Mer, Normandy, organized by the British Royal Legion. King Charles also delivered a speech saying, ā€œIt is with the most profound sense of gratitude that we remember them and all who served at that critical time.ā€ The King was also seen greeting veterans after this. So it can be assumed that his health is looking up now.
