With the Royal coronation only weeks away, the guest list preparation is in the final stages. There’s speculation about who has or hasn’t made it to the list, with more announcements expected to be on the way. Despite the estrangement, Prince Harry is expected to attend the Coronation. But the same courtesy hasn’t been extended to Sarah Ferguson.
The former Duchess of York is not invited to the coronation of King Charles and Queen Camilla. Formerly married to Prince Andrew, Sarah Ferguson is no longer a part of the family. Prince Andrew, however, is expected to attend his elder brother’s coronation. Sarah and Andrews’ daughters, Princess Beatrice and Eugenie, will also participate in the coronation ceremony.
Sarah Ferguson Snubbed From The Royal Coronation
Sarah Ferguson is being left out of the Royal coronation on May 6, 2023, at Westminster Abbey. Sources have reported that Sarah understands the decision and bears no ill will to anyone. She understands the day is about Charles and Camilla and remains hugely supportive of them. Sarah Ferguson’s exclusion shouldn’t come as a surprise. Since her divorce from Prince Andrew, she hasn’t been invited to attend Royal family events.
But despite the snub, she has always maintained cordial relations with her former in-laws. When asked what she would do on the coronation day, she replied, “I personally will be having a little tea room and coronation chicken sandwich and putting out the bunting, that’s what I’m going to be doing. Because that would make me very happy. I always love to watch it on the telly because you hear a lot on the telly. The commentators are always good.“

Sarah Ferguson’s Ex-Husband And Daughters Will Attend The Royal Ceremony
Sarah married Prince Andrew in 1986. Soon, their marriage was shaken by a scandal. Sarah had cited the wedding being on the rocks due to Andrew’s busy naval career as a reason for their split in 1992. But soon, the media found some compromising shots of Sarah with her financial advisor John Bryan. But despite the divorce, the couple still lives together.
After four years of separation, Sarah and Andrew divorced in 1996. Sarah remains cordial with many Royal family members and her former husband, as they remain committed to raising their children together. While she isn’t invited to the coronation, Prince Andrew and Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie will be present for the ceremony.
