What Is Prince William’s Yearly Income?

Prince William‘s salary for 2023 was recently revealed as he completed his first full year in the Duchy Of Cornwall. Queen Elizabeth II‘s demise in September 2022 resulted in her son King Charles III taking over the throne as king, and the now king’s son Prince William being given the title of Duke Of Cornwall.

As people notice a shift in demographics due to the change in titles after the queen ruled over the kingdom for around 70 years, they wonder how much the income change is.

As the Duke Of Cornwall completes his first year, it has been in many people’s heads as to what his yearly salary looks like.

Well, the mystery is over. The Duchy of Cornwall recently published its Integrated Annual Report, and it mentions that William received a surplus of £23.6 million ($30.4 million) for the 2023-2024 financial year.

This sum would cover the official, charitable, and private expenses of Prince William and his family. He also has to pay income tax on the full income he receives, except for household expenses.

As an estate established by King Edward III in 1337, the Duchy Of Cornwall doesn’t exactly provide the Prince of Wales with a traditional income. The Royal Family estate covers most of his annual expenses now that he is a working member of the estate.

Valued at over $1 billion while covering 130,000 acres in 23 counties in England and Wales, the spectacular estate consists of land, farms, dwellings, and other assets to help support the heir to the throne and their extended family

The Prince of Wales received only a portion of the $29 million accumulated by the estate because he was granted the title of Duke halfway through the year.
