All You Need To Know About Prince Edward
Prince Edward is the third son of the Duke of Edinburgh and Queen Elizabeth II. He is currently the Earl of Wessex. He was born in 1964, in Buckingham Palace, England. Edward was third in line to the throne at the time of his birth but currently is 13th in line after the birth of his nieces and nephews.
He married Countess Sophie Rhys-Jones on 19th June 1999, and in 2019 they celebrated their 20th anniversary. They have two children, Lady Louise Windsor and James Viscount Severn. Prince Edward joined the Navy after completing his university studies in 1986 and even tried out his hand in the entertainment industry.

What Is Prince Edward’s Position In The Royal Family Now?
As of 2023, Prince Edward is a full-time royal. After completing his university degree, Edward joined the Marines. After this, he also attempted to work in the entertainment production industry. Although, after the death of his father Prince Philips, he took on full responsibilities of the royal family.
He took over the patronage of London Youth from Prince Philips in 2020. Prince Edward was also appointed as the President of the Royal Windsor Horse Show in 2022, which he also took over from his late father, the Duke of Edinburgh. He currently holds the titles of Earl of Wessex and Earl of Forfar.
