10. Jimmy Fallon
One of the earliest celebrity cameos in ‘The Boys’ came thanks to Jimmy Fallon. He appeared in the very first episode, where he played himself and interviewed the character of Translucent, portrayed by Alex Hassell.
The segment was watched by Hughie Campbell on a television at work. This particular scene immediately set the stage for the show’s satire of celebrity culture by showing how superheroes are treated more like A-list celebrities than as actual protectors.

9. Will Forte
Longtime comedian, writer, and producer Will Forte brought his signature deadpan humour to ‘The Boys’ in its most iconic gathering in season 5. We saw him at Mr Marathon’s house, where he poked fun at his own legacy working for years on ‘Saturday Night Live’.
Forte’s character claimed that the best day of his life was when Vought executed Bill Hader because it opened the door for him to get more offer-only roles. Desperately trying to win Homelander’s approval, he even claimed that he was the one who turned in Channing Tatum.
8. Kumail Nanjiani
Kumail Nanjiani was another face we saw at Mr Marathon’s House. But only long-time viewers will remember that this wasn’t Nanjiani’s first rodeo on the show.
He previously voiced the Vought scientist Vik in season 1 episode 4. In a more memorable note, he appeared in the parody video singing the song ‘Imagine’ with The Deep. Each time he has brought his signature charm to the show, making him an unforgettable part of ‘The Boys’.
7. Misha Collins
Among the many familiar faces gathered at Mr Marathon’s ill-fated party, one of the most surprising faces definitely belonged to Misha Collins. Fans of ‘Supernatural’ immediately recognised him for his portrayal of angel Castiel in the show, who was one of the Winchester brothers’ closest allies.
Seeing him reunite with Jensen Ackles, Jared Padalecki, and even the creator of both shows, Eric Kripke, was a treat for the fans. In ‘The Boys’, he portrayed the character of shape-shifting supe Malchemical in season 5 of the show.
6. Jared Padalecki
For ‘Supernatural’ fans, season 5 was the biggest thing in years. Apart from Misha Collins, we finally got to see the Winchester Brothers reuniting after such a long time. Since ‘The Boys’ creator Eric Kripke also created ‘Supernatural’, this reunion felt like a full-circle moment for the fans.
In season 5 episode 5, Padalecki appears as Mr Marathon. He was once the world’s fastest supe, until he lost that title to A-Train, who also replaced him from the Seven. Although the appearance was brief, the reunion was simply unforgettable.

5. Will Ferrell
By season 4, ‘The Boys’ brought in their biggest gun to poke fun at Hollywood’s most self-important sports dramas. Will Ferrell played himself as an actor portraying A-Train’s coach in the supe’s latest movie.
Ferrell completely leaned into the absurdity of a movie that is clearly spoofing white saviour sport dramas like ‘The Blind Side’. No one could have pulled off this parody better than Ferrell himself.
4. Seth Rogen
As one of ‘The Boys’ executive producers, Seth Rogen has been a part of the series from the very beginning. Beyond working behind the scenes, he has also become one of the fan-favourite cameo stars in the show.
In season 5, episode 5, we see his final cameo when he is hanging out with Mr Marathon at his house. True to the show’s nature, his final appearance ended in a spectacularly gruesome fashion with Mr Marathon running straight through him, cutting him in half.
3. The Celebrities In The ‘Imagine’ Parody
One of the most iconic and memorable scenes in ‘The Boys’ is definitely its parody of the infamous 2020 ‘Imagine’ video, originally led by Gal Gadot. Instead of Gadot, The Deep gathers a group of celebrities to sing the song in a very desperate attempt to win over audiences.
The line-up included Elizabeth Banks, Kumail Nanjiani, Patton Oswalt, Josh Gad, Aisha Tyler, Rose Byrne, Mila Kunis, and Ashton Kutcher. With such a stellar cast, the result was a hilariously tone-deaf and brilliantly satirical take on the original video.
2. Charlize Theron
Nothing was more surprising than watching Academy Award winner Charlize Theron step into ‘The Boys’ world. She appeared in season 3 as herself, portraying Stormfront in the latest Seven blockbuster.
Theron fully committed herself to match the show’s outstanding satirical tone. It was brilliant to see that even Hollywood’s biggest stars were more than willing to embrace an absurdist parody of the industry.
1. Tilda Swinton
Nothing can top Tilda Swinton for the title of the wildest cameo amongst all of ‘The Boys’ guest appearances. Swinton lent her unforgettable voice as Ambrosius, The Deep’s octopus girlfriend. The Academy Award-winning actress surprisingly brought a genuinely emotional take on the character.
Swinton’s voice gave Ambrosius an unexpected amount of depth. Ambrosius’s longing for genuine love only became much more heartbreaking because of this. Her tank grew dirtier, and then she finally met her tragic end. Tilda Swinton’s cameo was one of the most memorable performances in the entire series.
