During an interview with Elle, Olivia Cooke talked about various things while filming the series and even appreciated the cast of such amazing actors. Ewan Mitchell who plays the role of Alicent’s son Aemond appreciated her performance.

He said, “I think Liv’s performance this year is one for the gods“. We shall find it soon and judge it ourselves. The whole cast is like a family and they had a great time while filming season 2. Olivia Cooke added, “They’re like my family, and we adore each other.”

Moreover, Tom Glynn-Carney, who plays Aegon also said, “We put the wigs on and the costumes on, and all hell breaks loose“. Cooke is like a lively person on the set according to cast members.

“She’s a dear friend and a great giggler,” said Fabien Frankel. Phia Saban also shared many scenes with Olivia Cooke as she plays the role of Alicent’s daughter in the series. She recalled, “We just got hyper, and it became a little bit of a chamber of music. “Lots of singing.”

Olivia Cooke shared that the shooting days of season 2 were exhausting for her and many of her co-stars had to shoot for all eight episodes instead of five in season 1, due to the time jump. They shot for eight months in Watford, England, which is nearly an hour and a half from Cooke’s home.

Her role was muscular and more energy requiring and she used to doze out after shooting. She said, “I just have to not speak for a bit because it’s such a social job.”  She added, “You’re being social from 6 A.M. to 7 P.M. It’s [about] really rich kids who live in Chelsea who just shag each other.”

Olivia Cooke is briliant with her art. The showrunner appreciated her by saying that she’s the kind of person you would ‘write’ about. Ryan Candal said, “We saw probably more reads and actors for Rhaenyra’s and Alicent’s roles than I think anybody else in the cast…and the thing that always stuck with me with Olivia was that she was the one person who brought this real humanity to the character.”

He added, “The kind of actor every showrunner, every writer, wants to write to.” Well, waiting for the fans is finally over as no time is left for the House Of Dragon first episode and we can watch it on Amazon.
