All About Battle Of Bastards Episode
The Battle of Bastards takes place in the ninth episode of season six. It involves almost all the seven kingdoms – House Stark, House Brownwood, House Arryn, House Royce, House Mazine, and House Mormont against House Bolton, House Umber, and House Karstark. The battle scene is shot with smear details, that almost seem to be realistic. Moreover, unlike other battles, this battle focused more on hand-to-hand combat and not any other fantastical elements.
The Battle of Bastards takes place late in the War of Five Kings in which Jon Snow and Sansa Stark, (Jon Snow’s half-sister) recapture Winterfall from Lord Ramsay Bolton, the Warden of the North, to reinstate House of Star as the ruling house of the North. This battle is also fought to honor Sansa Stark as she was being held captive and also to take back Rickon, (Jon Snow’s younger brother). The battle is soo intense when two armies face each other a hundred meters apart outside Winterfell. The series of events turned when almost defeated Jon Snow hears a war horn – a large mounted host of the knights of the Vale, led by Lord Sansa, Lord Baelish, and Lord Yohn Royce.
The battle is graphic and violent, bodies pile up, and the warriors are left with two options -either to get on top of the dead bodies or drown in them. Ramsay’s final act was a sadistic game as he shoots Rickon in the back with an arrow. The incredibly gruesome scenes that follow are hard-hitting. Jon strikes Ramsay down in the dual but doesn’t kill him, rather lets Sansa take the revenge.

The Aftermath Of Battle Of Bastards
Unexpectedly, the victory goes to the Starks, despite having a small army, but it wasn’t an easy win. Even though it marked the restoration of House Stark as the Great House of the North and the entry of House Arryn into the War of Five Kings on their side. Upon seeing Rickon’s corpse, disheartened Jon Snow orders him to be buried next to their father. While Sansa decides to visit Ramsay in the kennels, ironically the same place he kept Theon over the course of a year. At the very least, the cruelest killer in Westeros is now literally dog meat, dead and forgotten as the show marches toward its final game.
With Ramsay dead, the Starks can finally avenge the role that House Bolton played in the Red Wedding by leaving the Bane of the North completely extinct, as well as bringing a permanent end to the ancient feud between the Starks and the Boltons. Jon is crowned as the new King of the North by the Northern Lords as the North is no longer divided. He turns his attention to finding potential allies to counter the Night King and his coming army of the dead.
