Plot Of ‘Interview With The Vampire’ Season 2
Due to the popularity of season 1, the creators of the show released the much-awaited trailer for season 2, getting fans excited for more gothic horror. The trailer opened with a statement: “I’m the reticent vampire of the 9th arrondissement. I walk the night capturing disappointment and regret,” which shows the emotional conflict that is going to be covered. So expect an epic tale of love, blood, and immortality told by Louis De Pointe, Lestat De Lioncourt, and Claudia. Louis’s struggles as a black guy in New Orleans will also be explored further.
While maintaining the spirit of Anne Rice’s 1976 novel which is the inspiration for the show, the season 2 storyline might make certain changes to the plot. Actor Sam Reid who plays Lestat explained the changes in an interview with Entertainment Weekly, “It was sort of like a little domestic drama between three vampires in the first season, and we’re now meeting a lot more vampires and the world begins to expand. It is a lot bigger than just that drawing room in New Orleans.”
