Adult animated series are almost loved by everyone and Amazon Prime Video’s ‘Invincible’ was one of those shows. It was praised for its action sequences and for being a faithful adaptation of the original comic book. Another major reason behind the show’s success was the strong voice cast.
The first season premiered on March 25, 2021, and as per expectations, there was a lot of blood, gore, and hand-to-hand combat alongside family emotions. The response was so positive that the makers decided to renew it for two more seasons. Now audiences are waiting to see Invincible confronting a number of villains and whether his father will be found after that brutal final episode.

‘Invincible Season 2’: Plot Details
For now, there is nothing available to predict what would happen in ‘Invincible Season 2.’ However, all those who have read the original comics can make their own predictions but the best part, for now, is that the makers teased a lot of things towards the end of Season 1 so that audiences can remain excited for Season 2.
Considering the storyline of the comics, Sequids will try to take over Earth and it’s mainly because the first season concluded with them wreaking havoc on Mars. Another subplot is Omni-Man’s return to space and teaming up with the Viltrumites to launch an attack on the Earth.
Robert Kirkman also teased the introduction of a villain called Angstrom Levy who has the ability to enter alternate realities and finds Invincible responsible for his condition. Because this is an adaptation of a comic book, there are a lot of things that the producers can decide to do with Season 2. But what’s more important is a strong storyline that can make the upcoming season better than Season 1.

‘Invincible Season 2’: Cast And Release Date
The lead cast members of the first season would return to reprise their roles in Season 2. Steven Yeun lent his voice for Invincible and because he is the lead character, his return is confirmed for now. Others who could return include Sandra Oh, Zazie Beetz, Gillian Jacobs, and Zachary Quinto.
Meanwhile, a teaser of Season 2 was already released by Amazon Prime Video which revealed the release date as sometime in 2023. So audiences won’t have to wait for so long. Despite being an animated series, it took some time to return because possibly they aimed to make Season 2 better than Season 1 and the Rotten Tomatoes score is perfect evidence for the same.
