The Season 4 finale has brilliantly set the stage for the fifth season, which will be the final season of the iconic series. While many have wondered if Jeffrey Morgan’s character will return for the final episode, the actor spoke to Variety about it and gave fans a hint. When questioned about his involvement in the next season, he said,  “I don’t know how you do Season 5 without an appearance, at least. That’s my feeling.” He added that he “never had any official talks about it, but I think it’d be really hard to carry on without some sort of resolution — and hopefully that’ll be a whole season!”

The actor also talked about how he wishes to have scenes with everyone who is a part of his show- specifically his co-stars from ‘Supernatural‘. Speaking of them he said, “I obviously have a long-standing relationship with Jensen, especially. He’s like my brother. And then Jim is one of the coolest people in the world — so yeah, of course.”

The finale of the fourth installment of the show was previously named ‘Assassination Run’ but due to close parallels with former President Donald Trump’s assassination attempt, the show creators chose the safe way and renamed the show to avoid any form of criticism. It has now been renamed “Season Four Finale”.

The official statement reads, “The season finale of ‘The Boys’ contains scenes of fictional political violence, which some viewers may find disturbing, especially in light of the injuries and tragic loss of life sustained during the assassination attempt on former President Trump.”

They also have added a disclaimer before the show that reads, “The Boys is a fictitious series that was filmed in 2023, and any scene or plotline similarities to these real-world events are coincidental and unintentional. Amazon, Sony Pictures Television and the producers of The Boys reject, in the strongest terms, real-world violence of any kind.”
